Maybe I was training for Fear Factor...

I have a horrible memory. But one memory I have retained from my much younger days, when I was of elementary school age, is a fondness for sardine sandwiches. But not just sardine sandwiches. Sardine sandwiches with sugar liberally spread on the sardines.

And another piece of the puzzle falls into place.

The only other weird concoction I can remember eating is about six or seven years ago I developed a fondness for plain tuna out of the can, dumped in a bowl and mixed up with mustard and cottage cheese. It was not a phase that lasted a long time. Maybe a few months.

What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten on a regular basis?

Hey now, keep it clean people! You know who you are!

sardine sandwiches with sugar...the breakfast of serial killers.

weird food??? I don't know if anyone will find this weird, but I used to eat a lot of bread and butter with sugar on it when I was little. That and ketchup and bologna sandwiches. ICK.

That sounds like the refrigerator game I used to play with my little brothers except I would make the concoctions and make the little guys taste with their eyes closed...

Well, I can see the love of Dad got me started on sardines in mustard sauce when I was little...but with suger on 'em??? Brrrr....that gives me the willies just thinking about it!!!

Guess the strangest combo I eat now is popcorn, dill pickles and sharp cheese...all at the same time.

Itty bitty fishies with sugar sandwiches sounds like a winner to me. But gourmet bread, it must be GOURMET bread.

*maidink hurries to call a center city restaurant to see if they can pop it on the menu*

Ms. M-Serial killing is only a HOBBY for me, I will have you know!

Jozee--Ewwwww. Hey, if you had little bros in Noho maybe I went to school with them...

June--I thought you would catch that LOL

Stacy--If I have given you the willies, then my job is done here.

Maidink--Well, it was always wonder bread with us. But I have better taste now.

Bead--Now why doesn't that surprise me? :)

Pissy--You would prefer salt on your sardines?

Trinette--You are just off enough to be serious about that...

Since I have to keep it clean....

I was hooked on cottage cheese and plain potato chips for about a year.
Can't explain it.

Then I had a thing for Oscar Meyer Cheese HotDogs....

Now I'm stuck on steak. It's all I want all the time. Help

I was introduced to sliced black olive and mayo sandwiches during my short time as a short-order cook at JB's restaurant. I thought it was GROSS but once I had it, I couldn't get enough. I'd put it in bread, on crackers, corn chips, you name it. I'm gonna have to get me some of that again...thanks for reminding me!
