Frayed at the edges...

Today. Not a good day.

Hardly any sleep again, which means lots of Diet Coke in the morning, which means Mr. Fabulous is Mr. Jittery until mid afternoon when he is Mr. Lethargic and Mr. Zombie.

My assistant Jennifer gave birth to her baby boy last night, six weeks early, which is cool and all that, but now I'm stranded up the creek without a paddle. And I was already so backed up and jammed up and just plain so far fucking behind at work that all I can do it sit back and let the waves of pressure and tasks and needy requests wash over me like a cool coean breeze in October.

My visit to the doctor sucked today. I was kept waiting 30 minutes, during which I was so burned out and manic and on edge that every single thing that every single person sitting in the waiting room did made me want to punch them. Hard.

Even the children.

Cell phones. Toys. Gum chewing. Page turning. Even the way they would glance around the room. Stop looking around, you sons of bitches!

He gave me a stronger prescription for what I take now, so we'll see.

I slept for about an hour right when I got home, so I feel a little better.

Doctor's waiting rooms suck in general, but when you're having the kind of day you had.....

I'm sorry.

Hope you find something that works for you soon.... =)

Well, next time you need to punch someone hard, sir, just head out to the bus stop and take transit.

It'll do ya good.

I hate waiting rooms! And I get SO frustrated when I am kept waiting... it just feels wasteful. Not that I have something all that much better to do with my time, but still, it's the principle. Hope tomorrow's better.

I've had those days, too, Fabby. Feel better. I can imagine it's not good when Mr. Fabulous doesn't feel so fabulous. Go to a sleep clinic already before I come down there and kick your ass!

The last couple of times I've been in a clinic (taking my daughter), the wait hasn't been bad at all, but I've ended up picking up a bug of some sort and being sick several days after.

I think I'd prefer the longer wait.

Jenny--She IS fab, isn't she? Thanks for popping in!

Dream--It did last night! Hopefully I'm on the mend!

Nobody--I think those are the kind of days that breed serial killers..

Marty--Interesting approach...

Pissy--Thansk, but I feel much more fab today!

Sherry--Great, we'll have a pill popping party!

Lady K--They should offer somoe sort of rebate when that happens!

MP--Someone has some rage issues LOL

Bead--You must always avert your eyes when I am in the room, and do not address me unless I speak to you first LOL

Celena--Hey, I admit it! When it comes right down to it, I don't want any holes or metal "down there"!

Anne--True! I should practice what I preach...

Erin--Know what would be cool? If for every 15 minutes you were kept waiting, you got to punch a doctor or nurse...

Belle--Don't hurt me! You know I bruise like a peach!
